      Hi Dolf, Thanks for your kind reply. An interesting proposition. I am not an advocate of Obeya as they have become, a dedicated room of metrics. I follow the principle of bringing relevant information close to the where the work is done. My training promotes use of “team boards” and “a team spot”, for daily use. Team spot is a small Obeya on thecshop floor. Which follows classic TPS principles. I discourage the use of pre-formed material. The team needs to work through a process of defining their needs, and forming the habit of discussing the “differences” what is out of range. What they display should enable visibility of key issues and promote discussion. The only tool I strongly promote is a white board, with coloured pens and some plastic wallets. What I would be looking for in an association is things that promote discussion, rather than display of information (the team should figure that out for themselves). I’m not sure if this is helpful or not? Best wishes Roy
