In January 2019, the Obeya Knowledge Network met in Amsterdam. There one of the questions to the participants was to list a few books they would recommend reading if you want to learn more about the background on Obeya. Here’s a few of the books that were mentioned:

    – Accelerate by Jez Humble and Nicole Forstgren (includes an ING Obeya case by Steve Bell)

    – The triumph of classical management over Lean management by Bob Emiliani

    – Read about Hoshin Kanri (no specific book mentioned)

    – Break the cycle! by Arend Ardon

    – Lean IT Expert by Niels Loader

    – Implementing Lean software development by Mary Poppendieck

Ah nice thx Tim! There is a hoshin kanri template in the library by the way.

Out of your own experience, what book should I start with do you think?

Hi guys, just browsing through the list above and I couldn’t help noticing that in this list there are two important books missing, both written by good friends in this very community:

    – Leading with Obeya by Tim Wiegel ENG/NL (https://www.managementboek.nl/boek/9789462763326/leading-with-obeya-tim-wiegel)

    and

    – Iedereen Obeya by Jeroen Janssen NL (https://www.bol.com/nl/p/iedereen-obeya/9200000120485802/)
